Circa 1926 Bugatti Type 52 Baby No reserve Provenant de la collection Albert Prost Fabriquée par l'usine Bugatti pour l'usage des enfants de clients, la petite Bugatti Baby était une reproduction fidèle de la Bugatti 35 Grand Prix dont le palmarès en course n'avait pas d'égal à l'époque. Destinée aux enfants de 6 à 8 ans, elle était mue par un moteur électrique qui lui permettait une vitesse de 15 à 18 km/h. L'exemplaire que nous présentons a été acheté par Albert Prost pour le clin d'œil : il possédait en effet une Bugatti Grand Prix à côté de laquelle stationnait le petit jouet ! Restauré en carrosserie et en sellerie, cet exemplaire affiche un très bel état général. Avec ses sangles de capot en cuir, ses roues en aluminium et son tableau de bord équipé de la platine qui rassemble manomètre et inverseur, cet exemplaire satisfera aussi bien le bugattiste en devenir que le passionné de la marque de Molsheim. Et quand on sait que, comme l'indiquait la brochure publicitaire de l'époque Comme toutes les Bugatti, elle est inusable , il serait dommage de manquer cette occasion ! From the Albert Prost collection Manufactured by the Bugatti factory for use by children of their clients, the small Bugatti Baby was a faithful reproduction of the Bugatti Type 35 Grand Prix racer, a car which had no equal at that time. Designed for children between 6 to 8 years, the car was driven by an electric motor which allowed for a max speed of about 15-18 km/h. The one we are offering was purchased by Albert Prost for fun: he already had a Bugatti Grand Prix car and which used to be parked next to this toy! With restored bodywork and upholstery, this example is in a very nice condition. Straps with leather cover the bonnet, aluminum wheels and the dashboard equipped with gauges and inverter, this 'car' should satisfy both the Bugattiti and a child.
