Avant la prise de fonction du président de la police de Gleiwitz par Malsen Ponickau, je vous prie d'envoyer temporairement Matern dans un autre présidium de la police pour qu'il y reçoive une formation. Je sais bien que durant cette période il ne pourra naturellement pas percevoir d'indémnités. Je pense par exemple à une période de formation à Essen près de Zech. Concernant l'autre arrangement, c'est à dire envoyer Patschky après sa formation à Gleiwitz vers Brême et, une fois Malsen Ponickau installé définitivement à Gleiwitz, l'y affecter de manière définitive, j'y consens. Comme je l'ai constaté hier, Schweinle a déjà été une fois à Nuremberg et s'est très mal entendu avec Martin là-bas. Refléchissez si nous ne pouvons pas affecter Schweinle à un autre poste jusqu'à ce qu'il devienne président de la police de Stuttgart. The letter is translated as follows: Dear Daluege following our meeting yesterday and in response to your letter of 30 June I wish to inform you of the following. Before Malsen-Ponickau assumes office as Police President of Gleiwitz please temporarily assign Matern to another police presidium to receive training there. I am aware that during this period he will naturally not be able to receive any allowances. I am thinking for example of a training period in Essen near Zech.
