THRONENDE MADONNA MIT KIND, romanisch, Spanien, 12./13. Jh. Holz geschnitzt und verso gehöhlt, teils mit Leinwand bezogen und mit Resten der Fassung. In aufrechter Haltung statisch sitzende Gottesmutter auf Thronstuhl, das Jesuskind auf dem linken Knie, beide mit erhobenem rechten Arm. Hände unvollständig. Ergänzungen am Thron und an Marias rechtem Unterarm. Spätere Überarbeitungen am Kopf des Kindes sowie an der Schulter. H 85 cm. Provenienz: Ehemals Sammlung Raoul Heilbronner (1847-1941), Paris.
