Elle a été publiée pour la première fois dans le livre "Unpublished Gumilev" (New York, 1952). Le manuscrit de la tragédie, ainsi que plusieurs autres œuvres inédites, ont été apportés à Paris en 1931 par M. Artemyev (Brensted). En 1918, le premier théâtre pour enfants "Communal" s'est ouvert à Petrograd, et la première pièce qui y a été jouée était "L'arbre des transformations". Nikolai Stepanovich Gumilev (1886-1921) est l'une des figures centrales de l'âge d'argent, le fondateur de 'école acméiste de la poésie russe, un prosateur, un dramaturge, un traducteur, un critique littéraire, un voyageur et un africaniste. Il a mené deux expéditions en Afrique de l'Est et du Nord-Est en 1909 et 1913. Il est exécuté le 26 août 1921 sur la base d'accusations forgées de toutes pièces de participation à la conspiration antisoviétique de l'"Organisation de combat de Petrograd de Tagantsev". Il a été réhabilité à titre posthume. Housed in a modern case with a gold-stamped leather spine. "The Poisoned Tunic" is the only known dramatic work by Gumilev that was not printed in Russia, written in 1917-18. It was first published in the book "Unpublished Gumilev" (New York, 1952). The manuscript of the tragedy, along with several other unpublished works, was brought to Paris in 1931 by M. Artemyev (Brensted). In 1918, the first Children's Theater "Communal" opened in Petrograd, and the first play staged there was "The Tree of Transformations." Nikolai Stepanovich Gumilev (1886-1921) was one of the central figures of the Silver Age, the founder of the Acmeist school in Russian poetry, a prose writer, playwright, translator, literary critic, traveler, and Africanist. He conducted two expeditions to Eastern and Northeastern Africa in 1909 and 1913. He was executed on August 26, 1921, based on fabricated charges of participation in the anti-Soviet conspiracy of the "Petrograd Combat Organization of Tagantsev." He was posthumously rehabilitated. Николай Степанович Гумилев (1886-1921) - одна из центральных фигур Серебряного века, основатель школы акмеизма в русской поэзии, прозаик, драматург, переводчик и литературный критик, путешественник, африканист. Совершил две экспедиции по восточной и северо-восточной Африке в 1909 и 1913 годах. Был расстрелян 26 августа 1921 года по сфабрикованному обвинению в участии в антисоветском заговоре «Петроградской боевой организации Таганцева», реабилитирован посмертно.
