The sick girl, of whom Pechstein also made a large-format woodcut with the same title (Krüger H 211), seems to be dressed in an amazingly flirtatious way with collar and bow for convalescence in bed. Das kranke Mädchen, von dem Pechstein auch einen großformatigen Holzschnitt mit gleichem Titel anfertigt (Krüger H 211), scheint für die Genesung im Bett mit Kragen und Schleife verblüffend kokett gekleidet.
