La medaille se trouve dans son ecrin dorigine, en carton, dont le couvercle porte la mention Offert par le Marechal ainsi quune francisque en relief portant la devise Travail Famille Patrie. Medal signed Cogne presented in its original case marked Offered by the Marshal. The terracotta medal features a profile portrait of Marshal Petain with the inscription Philippe Petain Marshal of France Chief of State, signed F. Cogne. The reverse bears a relief francisque and the words Offered by the Marshal. Diameter 6 cm. Housed in its original cardboard case, the lid also features the motto Travail Famille Patrie in raised lettering.
