He worked in the Mercedes-Benz factory in Vitoria, where the models Vito and Viano are manufactured. As an engineer the owner has attach great importance on the technical condition. Recently he has refurbish the engine and transmission, whereby the camshaft and the valves were replaced, not because they were worn out, but as a precaution. In order to document this he kept the old camshaft. In addition the cooling system was renewed and gas-filled shock absorbers was incorporated. To check the reliability of the car was handed over on its axis without any problems from Spain to Berlin. In 1963 the pagoda of Mercedes-Benz was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. Due to the inwardly curved hardtops, which could be ordered separately, the nickname ‘Pagoda’ was given to the vehicle. A total of 48,912 pagodas were built in different versions. The BELMOT all risks insurance excludes: a) indirect and direct damages due to the normal aging process (especially rust, corrosion, oxidation) or natural wear and tear, i. e. due to a natural wear during the drive mode, on car parts which have to be replaced repeatedly during the lifetime of the vehicle; b) indirect and direct damages based on thermal problems, especially due to high temperatures, insufficient cooling while driving or overheating. The vehicle has to be paid and collected within 3 business days after the auction. The collection may be made via collection by the costumer or via collection by a transport company. A timely collection can also made via a commissioning of Auctionata to a fee-based transport (flat shipping rate). If the time period lapses without a result, the buyer has to pay storage costs in the amount of 25, - € per day.
