Mid 18th century Colonial School. "The good shepherd" Oil on canvas.  It is in a period carved, polychromed and gilded frame.  The sheep have the seal of the Society of Jesus on their foreheads. Through similarities with other paintings, this could well have been painted by Francisco Martínez (Guadalajara, 1740 - Valladolid, 1775) who was working in Queretaro, and painted other compositions of the Good Shepherd similar to this one. 102 x 144 cm.
