Il devient fournisseur de la maison royale et réalise plusieurs pièces pour Isabelle II dont un diadème et un collier de diamants, classés parmi les œuvres difficilement surpassables. Pendant la guerre civile espagnole, l'entreprise ferme ses portes, mais une autre génération des Oriol continue la tradition après la guerre. He moved to Barcelona in 1850, where he opened a jeweller's shop and quickly gained a reputation for the quality of his goldsmith's work, which was favoured by Barcelona's high society. He became a supplier to the royal household and made several pieces for Isabel II, including a tiara and a diamond necklace, both of which are classified as works that are difficult to surpass.
