Rare yellow jade vase with cover, double pumpkin shaped, with handles in the shape of stylized dragon
China, Qing Dynasty, Qianlong (1736-1795) mark and Period partially erased mark,
h cm 17,5 A similar vase is present in the Museum Palace collection in Beijing with a carved stylized Taotie mask with the same kind of jade but of a different shape. The following lot seems to be the only imperial exemplar made of this kind of jade and in this shape.
