RARE YUHUCHU VASE WITH DRAGONS AMIDST FLOWER SCROLLS. China. Porcelain decorated in underglaze blue and carmine red (yanzhihong) enamel. Elegant pear-shaped vase with high neck on a flared foot ring. The patterns are arranged in borders of different widths: Banana leaves and flowers with tendrils on the neck, small stylized ruyi cloud heads on the shoulder, a strong five-clawed dragon in profile shown between dense tendrils with large flowers, including lotus, peonies, chrysanthemums and daylilies, stylized lotus leaves and lotus blossoms at the foot. Total height 30.8cm. Height without wooden lip 27.5cm. Underneath six-part Qianlong mark in underglaze blue and possibly from the period. Condition C. Upper part of the neck broken, polished and replaced with black wood. Die Muster sind in unterschiedlich breiten Bordüren angeordnet: Bananenblätter und Blüten mit Ranken am Hals, kleine stilisierte ruyi-Wolkenköpfe auf der Schulter, auf Leib ein kräftiger fünfklauiger Drache im Profil gezeigt zwischen dichten Ranken mit großen Blüten, darunter Lotos, Päonien, Chrysanthemen und Taglilien, am Fuß stilisierte Lotosblätter und Lotosblüten. Gesamthöhe 30,8cm. Höhe ohne Holzmündung 27,5cm. Im Boden sechsteilige Qianlong-Marke in Unterglasurblau, evtl. aus der Zeit. Zustand C. Oberer Teil des Halses gebrochen, abgeschliffen und mit Edelholz ersetzt.
