Die Wandung, der Fuß und der wenig aufgewölbte Stülpdeckel mit flach getriebenem und äußerst fein ziseliertem Bandwerk und Fruchtgebinden auf punziertem Grund. Die detailliert modellierte Figur eines römischen Soldaten mit Schild und Lanze als Bekrönung. Cuppa, base, and cover all decorated with finely chased scrollwork and fruit garlands. The finial formed as a detailed model of a Roman soldier with a shield and lance. H 32 cm, weight 390 g.
