French sabres and glaives from the 19th century including a briquet sabre with a blade stamped with a P inside a lozenge. The guard bears a stamp with an A beneath a star. A model 1831 glaive with several serial numbers including one matching both the hilt and scabbard and a blade marked by the manufacturer Talabot Paris. Also includes a small glaive of the cantiniere or fireman type.
