"Saint Julian of Moraime". Carved, gilded and polychromed wooden sculpture. Colonial School. 17th - 18th century. The character depicted in this sculpture, which is the patron saint of Ferrol (Galicia, Spain), was a noble courtier, penitent and hunter. He is dressed in a red coat as a reference to his martyrdom. Saint Julian's usual attribute is a falcon, but in this case it is represented as a bird that more closely resembles a dove. There is only one chapel in the Archpriest of Nemancos dedicated to this Saint: the Church of San Julián de Moraime, in Muxía. 100 x 52 x 23 cm.
