*SKELTON CLOCK "A L'AIGLE", Directoire, the cartouche stamped FOLIN L'AINE A PARIS (Nicolas Alexandre Folin, maitre 1789), Paris circa 1785/95. Finely painted enamel in "bleu turquoise" with stylised stars and matte and polished gilt bronze together with white marble. The clock with a fine enamel chapter ring, a gilt anchor escapement striking the 1/2 hours on bell. Decorated with matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications. 24x12x41 cm.
