Spitzweg vermerkt: Brücke oft passiert. Auf der Reise nach Pommersfelden hatte sich der Maler des öfteren ein sog. 'Landstraßencoupé' gemietet, das auf sechs Meilen einen Gulden kostete. Spitzweg notes: bridge often crossed. On the journey to Pommersfelden the painter often rented a so-called "country road coupé" which cost one guilder per six miles.
