Thöny, oil on canvas, 57.5 x 51 cm, framed Wilhelm Thöny used the painting “Vorstadt mit sitzender Frau” from 1914 by Albert Weisgerber – a painter of the Neue Münchner Secession whom he held in high esteem – as a model for the composition.
