Die Kreuzigungsgruppe mit Christus, Maria und Johannes ist preziosenhaft fein und stark plastisch hervortretend aus dem Stein herausgeschnitten, wobei der grünliche Moosachat es ermöglichte, die dunklere Figurengruppe von dem lebendigen helleren Hintergrund abzusetzen. Der Stein wird von einem schlichten Goldrahmen eingefaßt. Winzige Bestoßung auf der Oberseite des Kreuzbalkens, sonst makellos. 4,5 x 3,0 cm. The figures carved from the darker layer of the mossy agate cameo contrast starkly against the lively background carved from the lighter layer. The stone set into a simple gold surround.
