Losada, was a Spanish watchmaker who established himself in London during the 19th century. Born in León, he went into exile in England, where he built a remarkable career in horology. His creations, celebrated for their accuracy and reliability, were prized by naval officers and explorers.Losada also crafted high-end pocket watches, reflecting his refined expertise. In 1866, he gifted the city of Madrid the monumental clock of the Puerta del Sol, which still operates today. This emblematic work cemented his place as a key figure in Spanish watchmaking.
