Mounted in somewhat later wove album with cord binding. Mostly with inscriptions on the album pages in German. Often dated in the negative. Contains mainly photographs from December 1915 to January 1916 from present-day Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus. Including numerous photographs of destroyed bridges and their reconstruction or the construction of emergency bridges, including a railway bridge on the Wilejka-Dünaburg line as well as a panoramic view of a destroyed Wilija bridge (Neris) consisting of two photographs (together 9 x 27 cm) and a detailed documentation of the construction of a water tower in Vilnius (Wilna). Also some group portraits of German soldiers. - Contains photographs from the following places, among others: Orle, Kowno, Nowo Minsk, Druzele. - Occasionally with slight silvering or rubbing.
