10. A large pottery charger by Pierre de Verclos Tunisia, Nabeul, early 20th Century of shallow form on a short foot, decorated with geometric and floral motifs, inscribed in Arabic to reverse 50.5 cm. diam. Inscriptions: 'De Verclos, Qallal al-Qadim Nabil'. The ceramicist Pierre de Verclos (1886-1950) had a firm called Kallal el-Kadim in Nabeul, Tunisia.
