RARE VASE DOUBLE GOURDE EN BAMBOU SCULPTÉ XVIIe/XVIIIe siècle A RARE DOUBLE-GOURD SHAPED BAMBOO VASE 17th/18th century Of slightly compressed double-gourd shape, rising to a short narrow neck with flared rim, intricately and finely carved in relief around the exterior with a dense design of leafy trellises suspending small double-gourds amidst blossoms and butterflies, the foot circled with a key-fret band. 23cm (9in) high. 十七/十八世紀 竹雕葫蘆式瓶 Provenance: Formerly in a German collection, acquired before 1970 (by repute), acquired from the collection 來源: 德國舊藏,於1970年前入藏(傳) 現藏家得自上述來源 Compare a carved boxwood gourd in the Palace Museum collection, published in The Complete Collection of Treasures in the Palace Museum.
