A Directoire gilt-bronze clock with a circular movement set on an arch The dial, enamelled in white with black Arabic numerals for the hours, is surmounted by a floral basket from which garlands of foliage spill out; the base has curved sides with scrollwork and palmettes, claw feet and a marble plinth. (damage to the dial, signs of wear, some parts need reattaching, no balance wheel, no key, movement to be serviced), 42cm wide, 12cm deep, 55cm high (16 1/2in wide, 4 1/2in deep, 21 1/2in high).
