Guangxu six-character mark and of the period
The centre painted in translucent green enamel with a five-clawed dragon in pursuit of the flaming pearl, his body with black scales, all amidst flames and within two green rings, the reverse similarly decorated with two dragons each pursuing a flaming pearl on a ground of incised cresting waves, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue.
