Of spherical shape, both decorated with figures in Chinese landscapes, the protruding rings on each stem picked out in blue, the flared foot painted with a radiating foliate motif, 18cm high, (2)
A very similar wigstand, or ornament, is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (inv. C.620-1909) and another from a private collection is illustrated in Jean Rosen, Faïence de Nevers, 2009, vol. 2, p. 348, fig. 619.
