145. Two rare Strasbourg faience pigeon tureens and covers, circa 1750
Modelled by J.G. Lanz with their heads slightly turned to opposite sides, with branch supports on a grassy base, the plumage painted in shades of grey and purple respectively, 25cm high, the first with PH monogram in blue to base and i in blue to base and cover, the second unmarked (restored) (4)
