This second edition, illustrated with 57 full-page engravings and 38 vignettes by T. Galle and Ch. Mallery, contains 32 more engravings than the 1600 original. A fine hour-book, one of the most beautiful volumes published by Moretus, who wanted to celebrate the marriage of the Infanta Isabel in 1598 in his own way. The engravings are of high quality.
