RARE VASE ANTHROPOMORPHE EN BRONZE Époque Kangxi (1662-1722) A RARE ANTHROPOMORPHE BRONZE VASE Kangxi period Cast in the form of a bixie crouching low on a splayed base, with a round body sweeping up to a waisted neck and undulating rim, the animal detailed with a gentle grin revealing sharp fangs, bulging eyes, powerful limbs covered with spiraling fur and an upswept tail, the bronze patinated to a deep brown colour, wood stand and fitted box. 18cm (7 1/8in) high.
