The rectangular copper screen with a red-copper bamboo-form rim and feet, the panel chiselled and decorated in high and flush inlays of gold, copper, silver, and shakudō depicting a hawk perched on the trunk of a willow tree watching a pair of sparrows, farmhouses and pine trees in the distance, the reverse with geese in flight beneath a cloud-covered full moon
