2 volumes bound in 1 volume in-8, black chagrin, ribbed spine, gilt lace inside, gilt edges, illustrated covers preserved (Lebrun relieur).
In this edition, the illustrations consist of 2 frontispieces, 2 botanical plates in black and 50 in colour "very carefully retouched for the engraving and for the colouring". The 132-page botanique des dames is bound in fine. Despite some foxing, the copy is pleasant, bound by Lebrun, a bookbinder and gilder who was a pupil of Simier, established around 1830.
