1849-1978, collection of France in 2 volumes including postage stamps and end of catalogue, almost complete for the postage part since the origins, the classic cancelled and mint stamps, then a large proportion of mint stamps from 1900, very many good values such as Y&T n°1 to 6, 9, 18 (def.), 33, Bordeaux including n°44A TB, 47 *, 48 *, 49 *, Sage with the cancelled Bleu de Prusse n°84, Merson including 122 * and 123 **, all the Orphans with of course the 155 *, Minéraline 188B *, 182 (2 copies including one NSG), Pont du Gard in multiple with 1 mint copy **, Caisses d'Amortissement, souvenir sheets 2 and 3, PA 1 and 2 *, 14 *, 15 *, EIPA 30 *, then many pre-cancelled POSTES PARIS and POSTES FRANCE (some modern overprints), a nice page of tax stamps including No. 7 *, 8 and 23 mint without gum, 24 signed (a rounded corner), and finally war stamps, German occupation and Liberation with overprinted series from Annemasse, Bordeaux, Poitiers or Sospel; As is often the case, the oldest stamps are of mixed quality, with some Bs and VFs, and a few signed stamps. The overall value is very high, making this a quality collection!
