A vase-shaped clock in gilt-bronze, first half of the 19th century The white enamelled dial, signed by Julien Béliard, is set into the body of the vase; it is framed by two winged victory figures and surmounted by a frieze of playing putti, with a quadrangular base and small feet. (Significant oxidation, chips, missing hands, a damaged handle requiring reattachment, no key, no balance wheel, movement in need of servicing), 17cm wide, 13cm deep, 43.5cm high (6 1/2in wide, 5in deep, 17in high).
