1872-1970, set of approximately 80 mostly semi-modern letters of marcophile interest, e.g. forged Pétain in the effigy of de Gaulle on a 1943 & 1944 envelope (with arrival stamp), liberation of Méasnes, Chantier de la Jeunesse, FFI, censorship, various tariffs, a 1962 letter taxed in Monaco (Franco-Douaniere postal war), stamp holder, cancellation, etc., numerous envelopes purchased in VSO, interesting lot to see.
