19. A Meissen figure of a coppersmith from the large Cris de Paris series, circa 1750
Modelled by J.J. Kaendler, carrying a cauldron on his back and holding a cover and tool in his hands, wearing a black tricorn hat, brown jacket with gilt buttons, blue-edged white apron, purple breeches and pink stockings, 18.8cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to rear edge of base (minor restoration)
