A pair of large covered Medici vases in patinated and gilt-bronze, first half of the 19th century The body is decorated with a scene of a dancing nymph, godron and foliage friezes, satyr-head handles, a quadrangular base crowned with a laurel wreath, and an openwork lid. (oxidation, wear to the gilding and patina), 12cm wide, 12cm deep, 46cm high (4 1/2in wide, 4 1/2in deep, 18in high).
