Bel état de présentation
Mécanique tournante
Rare exemplaire survivant

Rare surviving example
Before 1917, the valveless technique wasn't applied to small sized engines, and it was with the 1100cc engine of the X30 prototype that the method was employed. Shelved during the war, the project resurfaced with the X32 and its K4C2 engine. This model soon evolved into the Type 37 which employed a four-speed gearbox. According to the copy of an old registration document our example was registered 6341 MX 1 in Orne in January 1933. This elegant limousine then became the property of a materials dealer in 1976 before being acquired by André Lurton through the renowned dealer Bruno Vendiesse. This automobile is in a superbly conserved, sound condition, and the elements of bodywork are all well aligned. The upholstery has been tastefully renewed in keeping with the original specification and it has a lovely patina today. The superb dashboard includes a period Paris-Rhône plate, which sits between a magnificent multi-function odometer and an AT clock. The engine, which is the original, was started less than six months ago and it will be for the new owner to carry out a full service on the car before taking it on the road.
Note to the buyers:
We inform buyers that all the vehicles in the collection have been rarely used during the last years as they are part of a museum collection. They are sold as presented and therefore require at the minimum recommissioning before being driven on the public roads.
