1957 AC Aceca coupé Carte grise française de collection Châssis n° AEX 569 Moteur n°CL2244WD - Très rare Aceca conduite à gauche d'origine - Voiture correctement préservée et entretenue Cette très rare AC Aceca à conduite à gauche a été vendue neuve en août 1956 au Canada, par l'intermédiaire du garage Scaboro Beach. Équipée du moteur six-cylindres AC culbuté à trois carburateurs, souple et endurant, elle était alors de couleur black pearl, avec intérieur rouge. En 2010, elle a été achetée par un collectionneur français à son précédent propriétaire, un important collectionneur autrichien. Elle est aujourd'hui de teinte rouge et présente une belle sellerie en cuir rouge avec moquette rouge foncée. Les jantes à rayons à fixation centrale sont peintes en gris argent. L'échappement complet est en acier inoxydable et les roulements de roue, croisillons et batterie sont récents. Le démarreur a été reconditionné il y a quelques années, ainsi que les maîtres-cylindres de freins et d'embrayage. Les cylindres de roues et garnitures de freins avant et arrière ont été remplacés et, depuis, la voiture n'a que peu roulé. Accompagnée de sa boîte à outils d'origine et présentant une patine émouvante, cette AC Aceca offre le charme d'une carrosserie originale et de l'habitacle intimiste de cette version coupé, avec son tableau de bord spécifique et sa finition plus soignée que celle du roadster. French collectors' title Chassis n° AEX 569 Engine n°CL2244WD - Very rare, original lefthand drive Aceca - Properly preserved and maintained car This very rare lefthand drive AC Aceca was sold new in August 1956 in Canada, through the Scaboro Beach garage acting as intermediary. Equipped with the AC six-cylinder pushrod engine with three carburettors that was versatile and strong, it was originally presented in black pearl with red interior. In 2010 it was acquired by a French collector from its previous owner, an important Austrian collector. It is presented in red today with lovely red leather upholstery and dark red carpets. The centre-lock wire wheels are painted silver grey. The car has a stainless steel exhaust and the wheel bearings and battery are recent. The starter was refurbished a few years ago, along with the master brake cylinders and the clutch. The wheel cylinders and front and rear brake pads have been replaced, since which time the car has hardly been driven. Complete with original toolkit and displaying a wonderful patina, the original body of this AC Aceca offers great appeal on this coupé version with intimate cockpit, with its unique dashboard and boasting a higher level of finish than the roadster.
