Il a ensuite évolué vers la fabrication de tracteurs sous sa marque Lamborghini Trattori qui, la demande étant forte au début des 30 glorieuses, a rencontré un important succès. C'est d'ailleurs celui-ci qui a permis de financer plus tard le lancement des automobiles, concurrentes de Ferrari dont Ferruccio Lamborghini était un client. Le tracteur que nous présentons est un 5C Ercole, modèle produit de 1961 à 1967, équipé d'un moteur trois-cylindres 2 193 cm3 refroidi par air et développant 39 ch à 2 200 tr/mn. Ce tracteur a la particularité d'être chenillé et, de plus, il est doté d'un très rare dispositif "tricycle", très utile pour faire évoluer le véhicule facilement sur route. Comme on peut le lire dans le livre " I trattori " de Toni Lamborghini, ce dispositif était disponible sur demande. Extrêmement couteux à l'époque, il connut une diffusion extrêmement limité, ce qui en fait une véritable rareté pour les collectionneurs. Il a été utilisé à l'origine dans les collines de la région des Marches, proche de la côte de la mer adriatique et connue pour ses vignobles. Il est resté de 1961 à 1984 entre les mêmes mains, soit 35 ans en tout et sa restauration, soignée, n'a été terminée qu'en 2018. Un modèle rare, historique, en bel état et qui ne peut que séduire l'amateur. As stated in Toni Lamborghini's book "I trattori", this device was available on request. Extremely expensive at the time, it sold in very small numbers, which makes it a real rarity today. It was originally used in the hills of the Marche region, near the coast of the Adriatic Sea, known for its vineyards. It remained from 1961 to 1984 in the same ownership, 35 years in all, and its very neat restoration was completed in 2018.
