1966 Jaguar MK II 3.4L Carte grise française Châssis n° 180524DN Moteur n° KJ9646-8 - Vendue neuve en France - Important dossier d'entretien - Matching numbers, matching colors Cette intéressante MK II équipée de l'overdrive a été vendue neuve le 19 août 1966 par le concessionnaire Jaguar parisien Royal Elysées, puis fut immatriculée le 13 octobre 1966. Son carnet d'entretien d'origine témoigne de révisions régulières dans le 16ème arrondissement de Paris jusqu'en 1971, alors qu'elle totalisait 56 231 km. Le père de son actuelle propriétaire, un médecin passionné de Jaguar, en a fait l'acquisition dans le Pas de Calais en décembre 1992, séduit par son élégante combinaison de couleurs : opalescent silver grey pour la carrosserie et bleu nuit pour l'habitacle. Un cahier, accompagné de factures correspondantes, retrace depuis 1989 l'ensemble des opérations de restauration et d'entretien dont elle a bénéficié, notamment une réfection du train avant en 1993, de la carrosserie avec peinture complète de qualité et remplacement des joints en 1994. Bien que nous n'ayons pas retrouvé de facture à part la radiographie du vilebrequin, le moteur, qui est celui d'origine, a vraisemblablement également été refait. Plus récemment, en 2020, la voiture a été confiée à l'excellent atelier Sampaio Automobiles pour une remise en état complète du circuit de freinage, une révision mécanique complète et changement des quatre pneumatiques, le total des travaux dépassant 13 500€. Cette élégante berline présente aujourd'hui une patine propre aux automobiles remises en état avec soin il y'a une trentaine d'année, la carrosserie est parfaitement saine, la sellerie est tout simplement superbe et la mécanique fonctionne de manière satisfaisante, s'avérant bien réglée. Un exemplaire de choix pour circuler avec distinction. Although we have not found an invoice apart from the x-ray of the crankshaft, the engine, which is the original one, has probably also been redone. More recently, in 2020, the car was entrusted to the excellent Sampaio Automobiles workshop for a complete overhaul of the braking circuit, a complete mechanical overhaul and change of the four tires, the total work exceeding €13,500. This elegant saloon now has a patina typical of cars carefully restored some thirty years ago, the bodywork is perfectly sound, the upholstery is simply superb, and the mechanicals work satisfactorily.
