RARE PAIRE DE SOUCOUPES EN LAQUE À DÉCOR QIANJIN AND TIANQI ÉPOQUE KANGXI (1662-1722) A RARE PAIR OF QIANGJIN AND TIANQI LACQUER CUPSTANDS Kangxi period Each finely embellished in the qiangjin and tianqi lacquer technique, the hollow circular bowl decorated around the exterior with large upright lotus lappets, the rounded tray decorated on one sides with a pair of dragons in pursuit of the flaming pearl amidst ruyi-shaped clouds, the reverse decorated with multi-coloured clouds, all supported by five short bracket feet.
