Lot no. 44
French title Chassis # 01106 Engine #135CS 0006120 (356) - Complete quality restoration - Version L, 357 units - Ex Michel Seydoux - Equipped with its original engine - Rare version L Sold new in Germany in October 1970 by the Düsseldorf importer Auto-Becker, the Dino 246 GT that we present is a "tipo L". Produced between March 1969 and January 1971 in 357 units, before evolving in "tipo M" then "tipo E", two versions clearly more diffused. It was then of Giallo Dino colour, with black interior. Registered in Strasbourg in 1980, it was then sold in 1994 to famous collector Michel Seydoux, who sold it in 1997. It was in 2013 that its current owner acquired it from Marreyt Classic in Belgium, after the car had been completely restored between 2007 and 2009. A file of photographs attest the restoration's seriousness, with complete disassembly. The mechanics have been completely rebuilt, as well as the upholstery, the bodywork and the running gear. In 2015, the car was serviced by ARS Classics for €3,000. The file also contains the Ferrari Classische certificate concerning the car's original specifications. Ready to hit the road, this rare Dino 246 GT L, with its beautiful center-nut wheels and thin front bumpers, will bring hundreds of miles of pleasure to those who will be seduced by the finesse of its design and the bewitching sound of its mechanics. It is the ideal link between the design of the 206 and the driving pleasure of the 246.
