La pièce maîtresse de la voiture est son V8 quatre arbres, conçu par Giulio Alfieri et dérivé de celui de la Maserati 5000 GT. Souple et endurant, il développe 250 ch dans sa version 4,2 litres. La voiture que nous présentons aurait été achetée neuve par un orfèvre de la place Vendôme, à Paris et, en 2008, elle est arrivée dans le garage d'un Ferrariste, qui a choisi aujourd'hui de s'en séparer. Elle est équipée d'origine d'équipements très appréciés comme un système de climatisation et une direction assistée. Il y a une dizaine d'années, elle a été restaurée à grands frais. L'intérieur, qui a été réalisé par l'atelier de sellerie Antoine, est absolument superbe. D'un point de vue mécanique, la voiture est encore équipée de son moteur d'origine (matching numbers), et elle sera révisée avant la vente par un spécialiste sérieux de la marque. C'est donc une belle représentante d'un modèle un peu oublié, offrant de brillantes performances dans un habitacle à quatre places, confortable et luxueux. The centre-piece of the car was its four-cam V8 engine, designed by Giulio Alfieri and derived from the Maserati 5000 GT. Strong and versatile, the 4.2-litre version developed 250 bhp. It is believed the car on offer was bought new by a goldsmith from the Place Vendôme in Paris. It arrived in the garage of a Ferrari enthusiast in 2008 who has decided to part with it today. It is complete with the original and highly desirable equipment such as air conditioning and power steering. Some ten years ago the car was restored at great expense. The interior was renovated by the Antoine upholstery workshop, and is absolutely superb. On the mechanical side, the car retains the original matching numbers engine and will be serviced by a marque specialist before the sale. Here is a wonderful example of a rather overlooked model, offering luxury, comfort and an outstanding performance in a four-seater body.
