Pour la première fois, une Ferrari commercialisée est équipée d'un moteur central, d'abord en cylindrée 2 litres, puis 2,4 lires sur la 246 à partir de 1969. Vendue neuve aux États-Unis, cette Dino 246 dotée d'une climatisation était une version GT à toit rigide. Dans les années 1980, le propriétaire souhaitant profiter de l'agrément d'une voiture découvrable a fait modifier la voiture comme une GTS, avec un panneau de toit amovible. Les artisans ont effectué un travail de grande qualité. Dans les années 1990, la voiture a été cédée à un musée grec avant de passer en 2004 entre les mains d'un collectionneur grec important, bien connu d'Artcurial. Il y a trois ans, son moteur - qui est celui d'origine - a été refait par le mécanicien du collectionneur, qui se charge également de l'entretien des voitures de la collection. Depuis, elle n'a parcouru que 2 à 3 000 km environ. Elle est chaussée de pneus XWX en bon état. L'intérieur en cuir noir est de belle présentation et la voiture dans son ensemble est dans un état tout à fait correct.
