Though not very much more powerful than the six-cylinder engine cars, the V12 offered greater flexibility and smoothness. The E-type V12, referred to as the Series 3, came with newer cosmetic details too: a bigger mouth of a grille and scalloped wings, amongst others. The car that we offer is a V12 coupe automatic, delivered new in France, which has undergone a complete restoration and that too, particularly well. The exterior paint, red in colour, is flawless, the chrome is in perfect state, as are the spoked wheels. The beige upholstery is in a state of exceptional quality, including two extra squabs at the rear, with the beige carpets barely marked. The dashboard, very complete, is like new. Under the hood, the mechanicals are in impeccable state and it is rare to see a job that focuses in all the details.
