Commercialisée à partir de 1973, la 365 GT/4 BB est équipée d'un 12 cylindres à plat "boxer" placé derrière le pilote, d'où son nom de "Berlinetta Boxer". En 1976, elle évolue en 512 BB et le moteur passe de 4,4 à 5 litres. Elle développe 360 ch et la voiture atteint 300 km/h. La berlinette Ferrari 512 BB que nous présentons est restée longtemps exposée dans un petit musée privé, en Suisse où elle a été immatriculée pour la première fois le 18 janvier 1978. La voiture présente très bien, avec une peinture rouge qui a très bien résisté au temps. L'intérieur est superbement conservé lui aussi, et nécessite simplement un léger traitement du cuir, sur le côté gauche du siège conducteur. Cette voiture est encore équipée de son moteur d'origine et a bénéficié d'une révision à la fin de l'année 2014, avec remplacement des courroies, effectuée par le spécialiste bien connu de Maranello Toni Auto qui entretient toutes les Ferrari du vendeur. Le compteur affiche 66 379 km et la voiture est accompagnée de sa notice d'entretien, de sa trousse à outils rigide d'époque et d'une housse Ferrari. Le dossier comporte le titre de circulation suisse, un certificat de dédouanement et une attestation FFVE, ainsi que le certificat d'authenticité délivrée par Ferrari Classiche. Il s'agit donc d'une voiture très préservée, conforme à l'origine qui a bien résisté au temps. Marketed from 1973, the 365 GT / 4 BB featured a 12-cylinder flat "boxer" engine, placed behind the driver, hence its name of "Berlinetta Boxer." In 1976, it was changed to the 512 BB, with the engine going up from 4.4 to 5 liters. The car developed 360bhp, with a top speed of 300 km/h. The Ferrari 512 BB on offer was exhibited for a long time in a small private museum in Switzerland, where the car was registered for the first time on 18th January, 1978. This car, painted in red, has remained in a very good condition through time. The interior has been beautifully preserved, and all it requires is a light leather processing on the left side of the driver seat. This car still has its original engine, and received a thorough service at the end of 2014, with replacement of the belts, made by the well-known specialist in Maranello, Toni Auto Ferrari, who maintained all the Ferraris of the seller. The counter shows just 66,379 km, and the car comes with its maintenance manual, its rigid original tool kit and a Ferrari cover. The file includes the Swiss registration documents, a customs clearance certificate and a FFVE certificate as well as the certificate of authenticity issued by Ferrari Classiche. So this is indeed a very well preserved car that is consistent with the original and one which has stood the vicissitudes of time extremely well.
