Il s'en est servi ensuite pour effectuer des déplacements entre l'hôtel Hermitage et le Cap d'Antibes et la voiture affiche 57 845 km qui sont probablement d'origine. De teinte crème très claire avec intérieur assorti et passepoils caramel, cette voiture est équipée de boiseries foncées, accompagnées d'une bordure plus claire, ce qui produit une impression d'un extrême raffinement. L'ensemble est de belle présentation. La Corniche, dérivée des Silver Shadow, était une version particulière réalisée avec grand soin chez Mulliner Park Ward, le carrossier officiel de la marque, comme le rappellent les plaques de seuils de portes. La carrosserie semble saine dans son ensemble, avec quelques défauts notamment à l'avant gauche. Il n'existe pas de carnet d'entretien mais le dossier comporte un contrôle technique valable jusqu'en 2014. Équipée de sa boîte à outils, la voiture tourne mais nous avons détecté une fuite à l'échappement et une révision générale est donc recommandée. Voiture rare et de grande classe, elle présente l'avantage d'une carrosserie décapotable quatre places et d'une finition de haut niveau. It was then used for trips between the Hotel Hermitage and the Cap d'Antibes and the car's display of 57,845km is in all probability original. In a very light cream color with matching interior in caramel and piping, this car comes equipped with a dark woodwork, along with a clearer edge, all of which produces a feeling of extreme refinement. The Corniche, derived from the Silver Shadow, was a special version constructed with great care at Mulliner Park Ward, the official coachbuilder of the brand, as is confirmed by the door sill plates. The body appears to be overall in a sound condition, with some slight flaws at the front left. There is no service manual, but the file includes a valid technical inspection, valid till 2014. Equipped with its toolkit, the car drives, but we did detect a leak in the exhaust, thus a general overhaul is recommended. A rare car that spells high class, it has the advantage of being a four-seater convertible with a very high level of finish and quality.
