Son moteur, d'une cylindrée de 5 litres développe 390 ch. Une profonde évolution arrive en 1992 avec la 512 TR. Bien qu'assez semblable en apparence, elle recèle de nombreuses améliorations. Alors que les modifications esthétiques apportées à la carrosserie sont mineures, l'intérieur bénéficie d'une remise à niveau substantielle. Le moteur profite quant à lui de multiples réaménagements qui lui permettent de gagner une cinquantaine de chevaux et quelques mkg de couple. Le résultat : plusieurs secondes gagnées sur les mesures d'accélération et une vitesse maxi qui s'établit désormais à 313 km/h. La voiture présentée est dans un état superbe. Une grosse révision vient d'être effectuée, comprenant l'ensemble des opérations d'entretien courant, mais aussi la distribution. Son dossier fait apparaître un kilométrage de 17 700 km en 2012 et 18 200 km en 2014, attestés par des documents officiels japonais, où se trouvait l'auto. Sortie de cette collection unique, la voiture affiche aujourd'hui 18 670 km au compteur. The result was several seconds gained on the acceleration, as well as higher top speed of 313 km/h. The car on offer is in superb condition. A major overhaul has just been carried out, including all routine maintenance and service operations, as well as the major distribution.
