Le moteur quatre-cylindres de 1 995 cm3, 16 soupapes et injection monopoint Turbo de l'Evo 1 développe 210 ch. De quoi compenser une légère augmentation de son Cx aérodynamique et de son poids. Pour améliorer sa maniabilité, l'Evo 1 a reçu des trains avant et arrière élargis, entraînant une augmentation du volume des ailes. Autres changements esthétiques : la nouvelle grille de calandre ornée du monogramme HF jaune intégrant un éléphant rouge au galop (cher à Gianni Lancia dans les années 50). La voiture proposée n'a connu que trois propriétaires et a été soigneusement préservée, ce qui explique son très faible kilométrage d'origine, n'excédant pas 22 700 km depuis sa sortie d'usine. Son intérieur en cuir noir se trouve dans un très bel état d'origine et se marie à merveille avec la teinte extérieure bleu Madras. Entre les mains d'un grand amateur niçois de voitures sportives depuis trois ans, elle a été révisée récemment. La courroie de distribution, le compresseur de climatisation, les amortisseurs avant, l'assistance de freinage ainsi que les pneumatiques ont été changés. Dans une élégante combinaison de couleurs avec un très faible kilométrage d'origine, cette Delta Evo 1 est prête à distiller à son nouveau propriétaire les fortes sensations de conduite qui ont fait la réputation de ce modèle. The 1,995 cc four-cylinder engine, 16 valves and the single-point Turbo injection of the Evo 1 is able to develop 210 hp, consequently enough to compensate for a light increase in aerodynamic Cx and weight. The Evo 1 has gained wider front and rear axles in order to improve the driveability, also resulting in an increase in wings volume. Other cosmetic amendments include: the front grille decorated with a yellow HF monogram incorporating a red galloping elephant (expensive at Gianni Lancia in the 1950s) The car on offer has only known 3 owners and it has been carefully preserved, which explains its very low original mileage of less than 22,700 km since leaving the factory. Its black leather interior remains in excellent original condition and matches beautifully with the Madras blue bodywork colour. The car has recently been serviced, under the ownership for the last three years of a big sports car enthusiast from Nice. The timing belt, the air-conditioning compressor, the front shock absorbers, the braking assistance and all tyres have been replaced. With a highly elegant colour combination and a very low mileage since new, this Delta Evo 1 is ready for a new owner to enjoy and experience strong driving sensations, which this model is famously known for.
