Gersaint, Paris, 4 March 1748, lot 200 (sale of the estate of M. Angran, vicomte de Fonspertuis), then Palais Galliéra, Paris, 10 December 1971, lot 10 (sale of the Louis Guiraud collection). The fawns were catalogued as China, Kienlong period in the Palais Galliéra catalogue. Old label under one of the bases: n°200, a doe and a stag of old porcelain made to be hanging, and placed on carved and gilded wooden feet.
