Imaginée pour boucler la Nordschleife du Nürburgring en moins de huit minutes, la M3 CSL est une version ultra allégée du modèle E46 avec bon nombre d'éléments remplacés par des pièces spécifiquement allégées et l'exemplaire que nous vous proposons présente tous les attributs. Superbe dans sa livrée Silber Grau, elle possède un pavillon en composite, des " flaps " aérodynamiques sur le bouclier avant dans lequel une aération a été pratiquée, un capot en aluminium ajouré et un bouclier arrière grée d'inserts en carbone surplombé par cette malle spécifique formant aileron réalisé en SMC. Livrée neuve en Russie en juillet 2005 comme l'atteste son carnet d'entretien, cet exemplaire présente de nombreuses options telles que notamment, l'alarme antivol à télécommande, le Park Distance Control, les phares Xénon... Equipée comme toutes les CSL, avec une boîte de vitesses robotisée type SMG, le moteur six cylindres délivre ses 360 chevaux aux seules roues arrière. Propres aux CSL, ce sont de superbes et exclusives jantes en alliage forgées de 19 pouces chaussées ici par de très efficaces Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2. Les ardeurs de notre bête sont tempérées par des mâchoires de freins Brembo. Loin d'être austère, l'habitacle offre deux superbes sièges baquets habillés d'une sellerie spécifique tendue de tissu Amaretta qui correspond avec l'alcantara gris du volant. Son actuel propriétaire en fit l'acquisition en Allemagne en 2016, le véhicule avait alors 41 000 km. Avec aujourd'hui seulement 42 366 km au compteur cet exemplaire a été régulièrement entretenu depuis sa première mise en circulation et dispose d'un carnet complet accompagné d'un dossier retraçant les principales interventions et son certificat de conformité. L'embrayage fut notamment remplacé en 2017 chez le spécialiste belge Arens qui entretient une partie de la collection. Capable de performances de très haut niveau, la CSL fait partie de ces autos dont la relative discrétion cache un tempérament de feu et dont il est promis un très bel avenir en collection. Designed to lap the Nordschleife at the Nürburgring in under eight minutes, the M3 CSL was an ultra-lightweight version of the E46 with several parts replaced by special lightweight components, and the car we are offering presents all these characteristics. Magnificently finished in Silber Grau, it has a composite roof panel, a front bumper with aerodynamic 'flaps' and a cooling slot, an aluminium bonnet with additional vents and a rear bumper with carbon fibre inserts beneath a special boot lid incorporating an SMC lip spoiler. Delivered new in Russia in July 2005, as its service book confirms, it is fitted with several options, including an anti-theft alarm with remote control, Park Distance Control and xenon headlamps. Equipped like all CSLs with an SMG automated manual gearbox, the six-cylinder engine sends its 360bhp to the rear wheels alone. Specific to the CSL, the magnificent and exclusive 19-inch forged-alloy wheels on this car are shod with highly effective Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, while its fiery performance is reined in by Brembo brakes. Far from being spartan, its interior boasts two superb bucket seats specially trimmed in Amaretta fabric to match the grey Alcantara steering wheel. The current owner purchased the car in Germany in 2016, when it had covered 41,000 km. With just 42,366 km on the clock today, it has been regularly maintained since new and comes with a full service book and a file including its certificate of conformity and records of the main jobs undertaken. These include the replacement of the clutch in 2017 by the Belgian specialist Arens, who looks after part of the owner's collection. Capable of very high performance, the CSL is one of those cars whose relatively discreet appearance conceals a fiery temperament and which is destined to become a classic.
